Dear R,
Yesterday I was at the boulder gym after a long break. Too long I could say. I spend some hours there trying different routes. Failing or succeeding. But for sure learning. At the end of the session, my hands were covered by corns and bruises telling stories.
Stories of the victories and failures of the day. Stories about my attempts. One of the beautiful things about them, beyond the stories they are telling us that, at a certain point, sooner or later, they heal. And sometimes I don’t even remember that once they were there. Like a sign that something like this will happen with each one of our wounds, isn’t it?
